Learning through Experience: A Collaborative Event for North East Creative and Cultural Professionals
Tuesday 30th November, 5pm-7pm
Online via Zoom
For our next Town Hall we have listened to your queries, thoughts and suggestions to bring a different kind of event. There will be no hosts, no one single authority telling you what to do and how to do things. Instead it will be an open space, a truly co-creating space where you are invited to participate as peers learning from each other.
We have sought out those who have challenged and restructured their own work and their organisations to be more inclusive and antiracist to share their experiences.
You will have the opportunity to listen to and ask questions that will directly help you reframe your own work within your respective organisations and/or yourself based on your unique struggles and desires for a better creative world.
We will be sharing the speakers and content of the event in due course.
We are aiming for the attendees at this session to be from a variety of backgrounds, from a range of organisations, as well as those working as independent artists and practitioners. Therefore we’re asking you to register your interest in attending by completing the order form in the first instance and we will confirm if you have a place asap.
We are able to offer 10 bursaries of £25 to support those who would otherwise not be able to attend, this could include cultural/creative freelancers, independent practitioners/artists, those who are unemployed or those who may need support with childcare costs. Please apply for this when you register your interest in attending.
